(Petro) chemicals and heavy industry
Because the chemical resistance of cable ducts has to comply with increasingly stricter requirements, Gouda Holland's stainless steel and thermo-galvanised cable ladders are much sought-after in the (petro) chemical and offshore industries.
The CRAFTY and LOCK systems are used especially frequently because of their large spanning capacity.
The RESIST and TRAY systems are also regularly used in (petro) chemical plants.
Combined heating and power stations
The most important requirements imposed on cable ducts for combined heating and power stations are durability and system quality. Gouda Holland's Sendzimir galvanised and coated cable ducts are ideal for power plants. Because of the corrosion-resistance requirements, thermo-galvanised or stainless steel cable ducts are mainly used outside power plants. Because of their excellent shape-retention properties, the UNIC and the stainless steel RESIST system can be used inside and outside power plants. The CRAFTY system is used for spanning larger distances.
Telecommunications
Cable ducts used in telecommunications must have an especially high level of protection, flexibility and spanning capacity. The UNIC system, which was specifically developed for a range of applications, including telecommunications, is the ideal solution in this respect.
Dairy and food industry
In the dairy and food industry, hygiene is obviously vitally important. The components of cable duct systems must not have any edges, seams or corners in which dirt and bacteria can accumulate. Protecting cables against the cleaning agents used in this industry is also important. Sealed cable ducts with joins, rungs and sides that are closed all the way round are therefore essential. The LOCK, STREAMLINE and TRAY cable duct systems are ideal in this respect.
Offshore
In the offshore industry, strength and stability are extremely important. The CRAFTY MF is a welded system with additional multifunctional perforations for fastening materials. It can be shortened to any required length with losing any essential perforations. The CRAFTY MF system can easily be combined with the MARINE LADDER, a lightweight steel construction, which forms the ideal secondary system.
